It’s become an annual tradition here in Thunder Bay and across Canada.
The local Terry Fox run is taking place today at Boulevard Lake, registration gets underway at 1 o’clock and the actual event runs from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.
You are encouraged to ride your bike, push a stroller, rollerblade or use a wheelchair in the major cancer fundraiser.
The fundraiser is going into its 39th year and has raised more than 750-million dollars for cancer research.
Fox was forced to stop his run near Thunder Bay on August 31, 1980.
