Charges Laid In Alleged Baseball Bat Assault

Assault and breach of probation charges face a 22-year old Thunder Bay man after an incident in the Limbrick Street area.

Police say they were called around 3:30 this morning to reports of an unwanted person at a home.

They found he refused to leave, and then police claim he started hitting the person who lives there with a baseball bat, following a confrontation.

The person assaulted was treated for his injuries.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
