The annual Rockin’ Recovery concert is on this evening at Marina Park.
Drug Strategy Coordinator Cynthia Olsen tells us it’s designed to help celebrate those people in the community who have overcome their addiction issues and those who are still trying.
“Give folks in recovery a space to share their story, to share their journey and to be a beacon of hope. We also want the community to see themselves rallying around each other.”
There are local musicians taking part, and there will be food vendors on hand, along with people telling their stories of recovery. It begins at 5:30 and runs until 8.
