Charity Bike Ride Returns Today

There’s been a change to an annual charity bike ride that’s been held for over ten years in Thunder Bay.

The Caribou Charity Ride is now called the Central Canada Industries Charity Ride with proceeds still going to the Northern Cancer Fund.

Organizer John Simms tells us the new ride will start from Belluz Farms.

“We have three distances this year. We are classifying them as a short-distance, medium and long-distance and all of them will be taking you to the rolling hills of the Slate River area and Oliver Lake.”

The 60 and 100 km routes start off at 9 am today and the 40 km route gets underway at 10:30.
