City Gets $450K For Disaster Response

A provincial investment of $450,000 will help the city respond to disasters and large-scale emergencies.

The funding will go towards Hazardous Materials and specialized Urban Search and Rescue Teams.

Provincial officials say it will allow the city to react to emergencies quickly and effectively.

The investment was announced this afternoon.
