We had a lot of fun at the CLE last week! Part of that fun was getting our faces painted! The team from Our Kids Count did a great job! There was one moment, however, where I wasn’t quite as pumped to have my face painted. That was when I remembered that I had to introduce Harlequin on-stage. I was already a little nervous to introduce such a classic group, and now I had to do it while looking like a zebra. It all ended up going pretty well, and the band had a pretty good laugh at my expense. My co-worker Stephanie captured my plight as I realized I had to intro the band and then laughed uproariously claiming I looked like internet icon Grumpy Cat. What say you? Grumpy Zebra, perhaps, but I don’t think I have the scowl to be compared to the legend that is Grumpy Cat.
