At least one forest fire is burning in the Thunder Bay District.
The Ministry of Natural Resources And Forestry indicates a .4 hectare blaze located about 55 kilometres northeast of the city near McWinney Lake is not under control.
Meantime, two other fires, one near Dog Lake and the other near Athelstane Lake, both located northwest of Thunder Bay, were small and put out by crews.
In the Northwest Region to the Manitoba boundary, there are 32 active fires, two are not under control.
