We’re lucky to be out of the studio this week broadcasting live from the 129th edition of the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition! Yesterday myself and Veronica from our Thunder Bay Mitsubishi Summer Cruiser Team took in day 1 of the CLE. It was a BLAST! First and foremost, meeting listeners was a real highlight, as it always is!
Then there’s the food! So many delicious choices!
And, of course, the rides! Veronica agreed to go on the Ferris Wheel. She neglected to tell me how scared of heights she is! The second we got locked in, the tone of her voice heightened and her face looked slightly terrified.
And finally, I don’t know how, but I talked her into going on the Sea Dragon while live on the radio. If you haven’t been on the Sea Dragon, it’s basically a huge pirate ship that sways back and forth gaining speed and height. We were right in the back, AKA the HIGHEST PART! In the clip below, I try to talk to Ronnie but all she can muster are some squeaks and screams! Join us again, we’ll be at the CLE every day this week! Great music every night!
