Police have arrested the suspect in a south-side assault investigation.
They say it happened last Tuesday in the Heron Street area between Ogden and Finlayson Streets.
An area resident saw a suspicious man in a laneway, and told him to leave the area if he didn’t live there.
That’s when police say the suspect pulled out what appeared to be a knife and threatened the resident before fleeing the area.
Officers were able to find the man yesterday, and arrested him early this morning.
A 32-year-old man is facing assault charges and has been released with a future court date.
