The Festival of Colours is taking place at Marina Park this afternoon.
Organizer Dr. Prashant Jani says besides the great dancers and musicians taking part, there will be plenty of chances to get messy with several throws happening throughout the event.
The event gets underway at 3 and wraps up at 7.
Jani says if you plan to pop by you should plan ahead for parking, noting there are few parking spaces at Marina Park.
He feels the celebration puts Thunder Bay on the map, claiming there aren’t many others like it in Canada.
Jani adds it’s very popular amongst the youth of Thunder Bay.
