Job Experience Funding Crucial To National Organization

The federal government is giving $4.4. million to the organization Project Learning Tree Canda so they can help provide teens with job experience.

PLT CEO Kathy Abusow says this funding will help them match 500 students with a variety of businesses across Canada.

“Hopefully spark curiosity in a certain area and advance their career and grow into a leadership position.”

The funding will help youth who face barriers gain work experience in the forest and conservation sectors.

Abusow notes this funding is critical and their program wouldn’t continue without this funding.
