Thunder Bay’s unemployment rate is up for the month of June.
According to Statistics Canada the rate of 5.4 per cent for our city is up from 5.1 per cent in May.
Ontario’s jobless rate was also at 5.4 per cent in June an increase from the month previous.
Across Canada the rate for June was up slightly to 5.4 per cent after the economy lost 2,200 jobs.
