There will be a designated smoking area at next months CLE fair; however you won’t be able to smoke cannabis there.
Canadian Lakehead Exhibition President Al Law tells us so far they are leaning towards a no vaping or smoking cannabis rule.
“We have not firmed up a policy yet. We work closely with the city police and security; it’s a very good question. We aren’t too sure if we want to put that kind of signage up, so right now we are saying no.”
The 129th fair is set to take over the CLE grounds from August 7th to 11th.
Advance tickets are going on sale at all three Metro locations and will wrap up two days before the fair starts.
This year’s entertainment includes Sass Jordan, Chilliwack, Harlequin, Nick Gilder and Sweeney Todd and the Sensational Hot Rods.
