Warm Weather Expected To Stick Around

The month of July is already off to a hot start.

Environment Canada’s Geoff Coulson tells us we can expect the warmer than normal temperatures to continue this week.

“Certainly looks like we are going to have warmer than normal temperatures. A little bit of unsettled weather with some showers in the night Wednesday and into Thursday morning, but the sunshine will come back for Friday and sets up what looks like a really great weekend.”

The second week of July will bring with it more normal seasonal temperatures.

As for June, we saw seasonal temperatures with the average coming in at 13.7, which is around the normal 14.

Coulson tells us we saw less rain than normal with 67.5 millimetres being recorded at the airport. The normal for June is 85.7 millimetres.
