Parking Woes At North Side Park

Parking is a big problem for angry parents of children who play soccer at John Jumbo Park at Pioneer Drive and Jameson Street.

At a recent McIntyre Ward meeting, it was revealed those streets can get quite congested on game nights and many people have complained of getting parking tickets.

As a result, city parking supervisor Jonathan Paske tells us some extra space has been created by the parks department.

Paske explains some parkland area has been sectioned off to ease the street congestion.

The city parking official adds, other options will be explored so more parking can be provided next season.
