A 38 year old woman is recovering in hospital after police say they were called to a stabbing.
Police tell us it was at a residence on Cumming Street between McKenzie and May Streets just before noon today.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she is being treated for injuries not considered life threatening.
A 49-year-old man is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
