Ride Raises $76K For Prostate Cancer

This year’s Motorcycle Ride For Dad brought in $76,676 for local prostate cancer education, care and research.

Organizers say 209 riders came out for the fundraiser for the Northern Cancer Fund.

This was the 9th year for the ride, which has raised a total of more than $1.15-million.

Officials with the Regional Health Science Foundation say the event has encouraged more discussion about prostate cancer, and helped buy equipment to help treat it.
