The 71 year old victim of a traffic accident on the city’s north side remains in hospital with serious injuries.
It was Wednesday afternoon when police say the vehicle the man was driving on Fort William Road and Water Street went out of control, left the road, and stopped on the railway tracks.
Police first thought the man’s injuries were minor, but it was later determined that they were much more severe.
As a result, the Thunder Bay Police Traffic Unit now has officers assigned to investigate the incident.
