Man Sentenced To Four Years For Dangerous Driving

A Thunder Bay man has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death and will spend four years in prison.

Randall Nault was sentenced recently and once released will be under a five-year driving ban.

Nault’s charges stemmed from a July 2017 collision between a truck and a motorcycle at Highway 589 and Kam Current Road. The man on the bike was pronounced dead at the hospital.

At the sentencing hearing the victim’s parents, sister, fiancée and other loved ones read how their family member’s death impacted them.

Nault expressed his deep regret for what he had done to the court.
