Police Officer Recovers Stolen Vehicle

An observant Thunder Bay police officer is getting credit for the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

They tell us it was this morning at around 2, when the officer noted what he thought was a stolen vehicle driving in the Vickers Street North and Cameron Street East area.

Once confirming it was stolen on June 3rd, the officer stopped the car at the corner of Memorial and Harbour Expressway.

Police add a 52-year old man, 19-year old man, and two women, ages 23 and 20, were arrested for possession of stolen property, without incident.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
