Teens Arrested After School Break In

Two teenaged girls are in police custody following a break in at St. Martin’s school.

Thunder Bay police say they were in the south end last evening around 7, when they were told by young witnesses about three youths bragging about breaking into the school and stealing iPads.

Police arrested two suspects in a back lane on Heath Street, and found several iPad charging cords, but no iPads.

Police say they then found 11 iPads covered in leaves in the yard of a nearby home.

And, police have identified the third suspect.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
