The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board is under review.
The Ford government has appointed two special advisors review the system.
Among them Sean Speer, a member of Lakehead University’s Board of directors.
Their job will look at the effectiveness of the WSIB, the sustainability of the insurance fund and how cost-effective it is.
A report is expected back to government by the end of the year.
