The local LGBTQ community is launching this year’s Pride celebrations today.
Thunder Pride has a number of events planned leading up to the block party and parade on June 16th.
This weekend includes an all-ages pool party at the Canada Games Complex tomorrow from 7:00 to 9:00, and a youth drag workshop and show this afternoon. The crash-course on drag starts at 1:00, and you can attend the show from 7:00 to 9:00.
On Wednesday, organizers are raising the pride flag at City Hall.
