The local Multiple Sclerosis Society hopes to raise money and awareness through their annual walk.
Spokesperson Marc Larocque says they’re gathering at the CLE at 9, ahead of the walk at 10:30, adding it’s a vital fundraiser for programs and services for those with the disease.
“We are happy that a lot of the funs will stay in Thunder Bay which will help people with their day to day living, and some of the money will go towards research to find a cure.”
MS Society officials say they expect around 75 people to participate in the walk.
