The City of Thunder Bay is asking drivers to slow down when they enter construction zones.
Spokesperson Mitch Malcolm explains it’s to keep workers safe while they are on the job.
He explains it’s a problem workers must deal with all the time and “creates hazards for everybody involved…and the scary thing is, it’s out of their control.”
The city official says the best thing to do is to slow down and proceed with caution in a construction zone.
