Inquest Set For Moses Beaver

The death of a 56-year-old man is going to be the subject of a Coroner’s Inquest in Thunder Bay.

Moses Beaver died on February 13, 2017, at Thunder Bay Health Sciences Centre after transfer from the Thunder Bay Jail.

He had been experiencing mental health issues before going into custody.

The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Beaver’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.

The inquest is expected to last 15 days and hear from approximately 27 witnesses.

The inquest is scheduled for November 4 at the Thunder Bay Courthouse.
