If you know of a woman that was vital to Thunder Bay you are encouraged to nominate her for the City Archive’s Women’s History Month online exhibit.
Archivist Matt Szybalski says this year they would like to increase the diversity of the featured women with the addition of Indigenous Women, nominations they have yet to receive.
“We are a community that has a lot of First Nations people living in our community and the surrounding area as well. They’ve all made significant contributions to life in Thunder Bay and lets hear about that.”
