It has been ten years since Age Friendly Thunder Bay was first formed.
Chair Rebecca Johnson tells us they’ve been able to accomplish a lot in a decade.
“We have a city services action plan which very few communities have; we also have a community action plan; we also are a best practice community for Ontario.”
The group will now focus their attention on improving health care and transportation services for older adults.
