Province Sees Need For Speed

The provincial government planning to run pilots where motorists will be able to go 110 kilometres and hour on sections of Highway 402, 417 and the Queen Elizabeth Way this September.

The Ministry of Transportation is also looking at running a fourth pilot in northern Ontario, but no specific highway has been identified.

It’s will also launch province-wide consultations on plans to increase speeds.
