Protests are taking place across Ontario today against Premier Doug Ford and his government’s recent cuts to several provincial programs.
Teachers unions are expected to hit up mini Queen’s Park in Thunder Bay at 4 today to rally against cuts to education.
Meanwhile, what is being called a “general strike against Ford” is scheduled over the lunch hour at the government offices on South James Street.
Organizers with the noon hour event say they are against a wide range of policy changes and funding cuts by the provincial government.
