Almost 100 Kashechewan First Nation flood evacuees are expected at the Fort William Gardens Saturday.
Organizer Iain Angus tells us they wanted to extend the invite to the evacuees.
“We wanted to make sure that they knew there was an opportunity here, and we made arrangements through Thunder Bay Recreation who is handling all of the recreation activities with them, to get them here.”
The Telus Cup organizer adds they could have more than 75 Kashechewan residents take in the games, it just depends on who wants to take them up on the offer.
