FedNor Money Helps Promote Telus Cup

Organizers of the Telus Cup are celebrating what they feel is so far a succesful major Canadian hockey tournament at the Fort William Gardens.

Thunder Bay Kings President Michael Power says recent federal funding helped them put on this event.

FedNor provided $25,000 so organizers could market and advertise the event to ticket buyers.

Power explains, “FedNor recognizes that this has to be a revenue generating event and we have to connect to our community.”

The TELUS Cup is expected to generate $6 million in economic activity for Thunder Bay.
