Boy Hurt After Collision With Mini-Van

A boy walking to school has suffered what police say appear to be non-life threatening injuries after a collision in the north end.

It was this morning when a mini-van, heading northbound on Algoma, driven by a woman from Thunder Bay, collided with the boy, near Argyle.

Police estimated the boy to be under 10-years old, and can’t say whether he was alone.

No word on whether any charges would be laid.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
