Murray Gives $50K To Local Groups

The Children’s Aid Society and Dilico Anishinabek Family Care are grateful for a donation from Matt Murray.

The local children’s agencies are each getting about $25,000, or just under $18,500 USD.

Each organization is putting the money towards their foundations that give recreational and other opportunities to local kids.

Those are the Children’s Aid Foundation and Mazinaajim Children’s Foundation, respectively.

It’s from the Pittsburgh Penguins goalie’s Saves MATTer program, giving $40 ($30 USD) for each save Murray made during this regular NHL season.

A little under half of the donation is from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
