Thunder Bay’s Cops for Cancer fundraising event is going into its 23rd year.
Spokesperson Maria Cabral notes this event is very special because proceeds go towards kids.
“It’s funding for pediatric cancers, so no one wants to see children sick, children are supposed to be out and having fun, it really tugs at people’s heartstrings.”
The fundraiser is being held at the Thunder Bay Country Market and organizers hope to bring in $20,000.
