It’s the second year for Shelter House’s Great Outdoor Raffle.
Spokesperson Amber Prairie tells us they have high hopes for it.
“Easy way to give to our shelter but also win so many great prizes. It’s just a small amount of money you are giving and you could get something really great in return.”
Meanwhile, Shelter House officials are thrilled by two recent events that brought in money for their organization.
Executive Director Michelle Jordan tells us their “Shelter From The Storm” that shared stories of people who use Shelter House’s services brought in almost $7,500.
A two-day food drive last weekend helped fill the shelter’s shelves and brought in over a thousand dollars in monetary donations.
