Thunder Bay’s own Thomas Dignan will receive one of Canada’s greatest honours, the Order of Canada.
Dignan will be appointed to the Order for his dedication to the health and well-being of Indigenous communities.
He and 102 other Canadians will be appointed by Governor General Julie Payette.
Dignan works as a primary care physician.
