Local Man Wins Big In Lotto Max Draw

Thunder Bay’s Gregory Polhill is smiling this holiday season after winning big in a recent lottery.

OLG says he won $333,333 in the December 14th Lotto Max draw.

Says Polhill, “my heart started racing, I was kind of in la la land….I even double-checked my ticket at home on the computer and still couldn’t believe it.”

The 62 year old retiree plans to go to Hawaii with his winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Brown Street in Thunder Bay.
