Ontario Lawmakers Back At Queen’s Park

The Ontario Legislature is being recalled.

MPPs have been summonsed back to Queen’s Park to deal the pending strike by members of the Power Workers Union at Ontario Power Generation.

A 21-day strike notice was issued last week.

Government House Leader Todd Smith says legislation to ensure that Power Workers remain on the job will be introduced.

The NDP plan to do what it can to stall passage which is likely to come this Thursday.
