More Officers Join Local Police

Four new police officers are joining the Thunder Bay force today.

Mitchell Johnstone, Johannes Lahtinen, Jordan Popowich and Joshua Robillard will each take the oath this afternoon at 3 at the courthouse.

The honourable Justice Burton will preside.

Once the cadets are sworn in as constables, Chief Hauth will give them their badges.

Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
