Wayfinding Goes Before City Council

The mayor and new city council will be getting the first look at a plan which will help tourists find their way around.

City Mobility Coordinator Adam Krupper explains the so called Wayfinding plan would see a series of signs and kiosks set up in various Thunder Bay locations.

It would help tourists find restaurants, libraries and other “key destinations” to visit.

Krupper says if approved Monday, the first phase of the proposal will go before councillors early in the new year.

There is currently no price tag for the proposal since he says the plan at this stage “is pretty generic.”

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
