Residents of Shelter House were forced out into the cold this morning after reports of a gas leak.
Firefighters arrived at the George Street homeless shelter just after 3:30 this morning.
The building was evacuated and residents had to wait outside in the minus 18 windchill for about 15 minutes until the all clear was given.
It turned out to be a false alarm.
