City Looks To Improve Cycling Options

Local cyclists are discussing what they would like to see done to improve bike paths in our community.

Spokesperson Adam Krupper tells us they discussed last night what they would like to see for cycling priorities for the next four years.

“To make Thunder Bay a good place to bike. The best way of doing that is through a strong partnership between the municipalities, the people working on behalf of the citizens, and the citizens themselves, and that’s what we’re trying to do.”

An expert from Share the Road Ontario was there.

Krupper adds “We want to know, is the infrastructure we’re putting in working for people? And, if it’s not working, let us know so we can do a better job. It’s about opening those communication channels so we can better use taxpayers dollars.”
