No Deal In Postal Strike

After failing to come to an agreement with Canada Post despite a mediator’s help, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers is plotting its next move.

The mediator’s mandate ended Saturday.

The union says both sides remain far apart with health and safety, staffing, job security and a reduction in precarious employment among their outstanding issues.

Rotating strikes are continuing, but the union is looking at other strategies to press its demands.
