There are tips coming into the local SPCA over reports of a man selling bulldog-type puppies from a duffel bag on North Vickers Street.
Local spokesperson Jeremy Gardiner is gratified people are responding to the call for information.
He’s glad the community “sees the importance of this.”
At the time we spoke to the SPCA official he was following up on one of those tips.
Gardiner adds, people seem to be genuinely upset over the story which is good for getting the leads he needs to continue his investigation.
