Police Raid Home Lay Drug Charges

A member of a well-known street gang is facing charges after being arrested by Thunder Bay police.

Officers raided a home Wednesday on the first block of Dease Street, and found eight people inside, two were youths.

A small amount of crack cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia and approximately $10,000 to $15,000 in Canadian currency was seized.

Five people from Thunder Bay and the GTA area were arrested.

Those facing cocaine trafficking charges include a 25-year-old Scarborough man who they say is a member of the Crips Street gang.
