Mediation Talks Set For Health Unit Nurses

The union representing health unit nurses are going into mediation talks on Monday.

Officials say they are trying to avoid being locked out or being forced to strike.

The contract talks impact 58 nurses.

The Ontario Nurses Association says they’ve had three days of negotiations and two days of conciliation with their employer the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

The nurses have been without a contract since December 31st, 2016.
