Union Gas Rates Lowered

Watch for lower bills from Union Gas.

As of today, the average decrease in northwestern Ontario will be $74 a year.

Spokesperson Andrea Stass says the move is “predominantly driven by the removal of the cap and trade charges from (your) bill” by the Ford government which added about three cents per cubic metre of gas used.

Stass adds changes in the price of natural gas and transportation also play into the rate decrease.
