Culture Days Returns

There’s plenty to do this weekend with Thunder Bay’s 9th Culture Days event, featuring 30 local groups sharing their activities including art, film, dance and more all over the city.

Cultural Development Spokesperson Ash Young says this year you can check out a series of free film screenings.

Young tells us there will be plenty of things to see and do at Magnus Theatre.

Along with a video premier from local artist Ben Murray, it’ll host a film screening of Indian Horse, with a talk hosted by actress Edna Manitowabi afterwards.

You can also see a film called Northern Lights, which focuses on stories of UFO sightings in Thunder Bay.

“That’ll be kind of exciting to bring that culture out during Culture Days,” Young notes.

You can find a full list of activities at this link.
