A 30 year old man from Ottawa is charged with various offenses following an incident on the city’s north side.
Police say just after 8:30 last night they were called about a disturbance outside a residence on the 200 block of Sequoia Drive.
That’s where they report a man forcibly took out a woman from a vehicle and dragged her into the house.
They tell us they broke through the door and found a man hiding upstairs and the woman unharmed in the basement.
The man was arrested and taken into custody.
